Getting there

By plane

There are two airports to choose from. Barcelona has more (and often cheaper) flights, Girona is closer to the venue.

Barcelona El Prat (BCN)

± 1 h 40 min from the venue

The most flights and often the cheapest option, with direct flights from Brussels Airport (Zaventem). From there you can continue by:

Rental car — pick it up at the airport and drive up the toll-free AP-7 (± 1 h 40 min).
High-speed train — take the R2 Nord train to Barcelona Sants (± 20 min), then a fast train to Figueres Vilafant (± 55 min, roughly €10 – 40 one way). From Figueres it's a ± 15 min taxi ride to the venue.
Taxi — possible all the way, but expect €200 or more.

Girona–Costa Brava (GRO)

± 30 min from the venue

Closer, but fewer flights: there are no flights from Brussels Airport — from Belgium you fly from Brussels South Charleroi. From there you can continue by:

Rental car — rental desks in the arrivals hall, ± 30 min drive to the venue.
Taxi — roughly €60 – 80 to the venue.

August is peak season: book rental cars early, and pre-book taxis — they are scarce in the countryside, especially at night.

By car from Belgium

Driving down? Brussels to Pontós is about 1,250 km — around 12 hours of driving without stops. Most people split the journey with an overnight stop in the south of France.

Expect around €100 – 120 in tolls one way on the French motorways. The AP-7 in Catalonia is toll-free.
